TRPV2-expressing macrophages accumulated at the peri-infarct zone 3 days post myocardial infarction

The potential involvement of the TRPV2 Ca2+channel in cardiac pathology, oncology and cardiac-oncology. A TRPV2 blocking agent is being developed in collaboration with the BLAVATNIK center for drug discovery.

Cardiac mitochondria are highly involved in mediating cardiac pathology and progression to reno-cardiac syndrome following cardiac injury
